This Pan Am promotional video from 1958 is almost painful to watch, for modern air travelers. This level of service is un-heard of now on all but the most luxurious planes. The 707 was one of the first truly modern airliners.

yea the reason we dont get service like that anymore is because modern airliners try to jam as many ppl into a plane with only 5 attendants to attend 500-700 ppl on the larger jets. its all about money now not customer satisfaction.
