^ ya but a lot of them have been drowning lately. Due to a lot of ice melting, the bears now have to swim greater distances.

He doesn`t need to be either. It`s a common psychological trick to get sympathetic support. Your opinion of the bear`s predicament changes if you put a neutral subtitle like "Polar bears go from iceberg to iceberg by swimming" rather than a loaded subtitle like "Global warming is melting the icecaps, endangering the polar bear`s natural habitat."
