WTF is a punch up? A fight, you mean? Believe it or not fighting is a safe-guard in hockey. Without fighting there is a lot more dirty stick work which can cause more serious injuries than fighting can. Its a part of the game, if you don`t like it put your dress on and go watch basketball.

hockey is by far one of the best sports. you need skill, speed and strength, not to mention boxing skills.

like on a team there are guys called "enforcers" and their main job is to throw their bodies around, keep the other team running and fight when the other team does something stupid.
