Note: if ever shot out of the air, press E to avoid dying. Aim yourself above a tank on the ground and right as you are about to hit it, press E and you won`t die. Don`t inflate your parachute as that will make you easier to kill.

^^Yeah dude that game rocks.^^ I hope they come out with a modern combat sim as good as that.

Unmannedperson too many video games I see. Those were WWII planes though so in WWII flight sims it`s usually ctrl-B or ctrl-j.

some of the BF2 mods are meant to be decent "Forgotten Hope 2 " is close. Theres also "battle group -frontlines"

Haven`t played either but plan on giving FH2 a dig.

Red baron was my all time fav flight sim

why didn`t the spitfires turn around after seeing the germans? one of the main rules is never let them get behind you. were they trying to get away? seemed like they were slower. imagine if they had no radio like in WWI. the radio changed air combat

Here`s a rough translation:
00:22 - The Germans spot the Spitfire. (Not difficult as it was a few metres away.)
00:30 - One asks have you got contact. Other says yes and "Elf Uhr" - 11 o`clock. They give chase.
00:38 - One says "shoot". What else you going to do?
01:18 - One gives encouragement "gut ..." - good, etc.
01:38 - Spitfire is hit and the Germans are naturally pleased. They follow for a while. We don`t know if the British pilot ejected or landed or crashed.
02:05 - They head home "zu Hause" as they`ve got a kill and German pilots would only have a few minutes to fight before having to refuel back at base.
02:11 - Germans get all smug and big-headed at their success. (This is normal behaviour from Germans.)
02:17 - Another Spitfire suddenly appears between them and hits the front fighter.
02:32 - German says to hit plane "Steigen Sie aus" - get out/eject!
02:40 - German tells him to head for British area. Home is too far.
Finally there is silence. Which is unusual for Germans, as they`re usually shouting or telling everybody how wonderful they are.

@gordon85 - I lived in Germany for 2.5 years and was just giving out some flippant remarks. I do think Germans can be very short on charm and manners. I look forward to your future posts when people make remarks about Americans, British, Arabs, Jews, Iranians, etc. Clearly you are the moral guardian for Spiked.
