i think dmt is getting a bit of a negative stigma. although you must respect it, it isn`t as ambivalent as lsd or shrooms. it`s actually very friendly compared to them. but rogan does a good job at explaining the intense experience you get with a nice dose. a full dose (60mg or so) and you may experience a fucking revelation.

edit: and by revelation, i mean your outlook on life will be COMPLETELY different, as high doses trick your mind into thinking you dont exist. rogan`s experience is intense, but the apparent brevity in his experience tells me he didnt take a large enough dose. minutes begin to feel like days......

I like the light artery analogy and the light being telling him not to give into astonishment.If you can look past the idiots laughing you can get some pretty stark insight into perception tweaking. Alternate dimensions whether perceptual or actual are in fact information repositories of the human condition and purpose. Either way I think this stuff is important.

~Edit The reason I posted this video is that what he said resonated with me. I have seen this ethereal grid while tripping out on LSD-25. Yes, real LSD-25. It is something I have tried to describe for many years and have not been able to all that well. When Joe started talking about this I got really excited as I have never heard anyone talk about the grid before. This is something I had no prior experience with and discovered it on my own during a trip when I was very young. If anyone wants to look up psychadelic spiritualism or magic, you should read The Teachings Of Don Juan By Carlos Castaneda, they offer a lot of insight. (But strangely little about the "grid")

great rant. so true that we can learn more about ourselves, as individuals and as a species, when we`re taken out of our regular state of being. sad but true though that those findings are never taken seriously. which is why i agree that everyone should go on some psychedelics and alter their mind at least once in their life. then, having all shared different trips and realities, validity would be given to others` experiences rather than the mocking and disrespect that is so usually shown to them. open up those doors and see where you can go, see what you can find.
