I know the buildings in Dubai are beautiful, but that doesn`t mean the architects are intelligent. An intelligent building is firstly purpose-, cost- and resistance-efficient. I am sure most of the buildings there are, but being arabs they just want them to look fancy and shiny foremost of all. (they either have small wieners or they all premature ejac, because they aren`t allowed to see hot women because of their religion).

^^^They said this is the new hotspot for Billionaires, and they are correct. Not for vacationing however, but for becoming permanent residents. The CEO for Haliburton, moved himself and the company headquaters to Dubai last year. Many other rich elite have gone as well. This is why the population of temporary workers to residents is so low as well. These people working and building this amazing city, are not part of the equation for it`s citizenship. For to become a new citizen of Dubai, you need major connections and major cash. The tax laws as well, are the most friendly in the world to its rich citizens, and corporations equaling nearly 0%. This is the new home for all made in America corporations, and other Western countries. And this is why the US economy is going to fall, for they no longer need it, they have their new oasis, being built in the desert, filled with VIP`s and soon to be outcast workers. It`s their new Eden.

FlavTheApollo, you clearly have no understanding of well...anything, have you ever considered that those architects aren`t arab at all. Even the video says it "It`s a playground for the smartest architects in the world!".

It`s being said that almost 1/3 of all the world`s cranes stand in Dubai.

Btw velocity73R mister smartypants, land economy`s aren`t run on billionaires money.

Flav, notice how the main guy for the Durj was chinese? I don`t think there are many arab architects, they mostly get chinese, european or americans.

Btw its not just for billionaries, they are making far too many things there for it to only be for the mega rich.

However, if all the biggest Corporations move their headquaters to Dubai, and why wouldn`t they considering the tax benefits, will this not make Dubai one of the most powerful countries on earth? Yes billionaires don`t control the world, but their companies surely do...

Shit... and Dubai is in a earthquake danger zone. Think what would happen if the epicenter was smak in the middle of Dubai? Man made islands sinking, worlds tallest building toppling. All this, because Dubai is about to run out of oil, and they need every richman in the world to live there so they can continue there economy.

Sometimes I think that the prince of Dubai is abit crazy.

Jimbillywho, it`s not about who actually projects them, cause an architect, believe it or not, makes a project conforming to what he is being asked for. True genial architects are the ones that can make an incredibly awesome, functional, beautiful and esteticly pleasing building with a normal (low budget).


Honestly, most buildings in Dubai look like they`re made out of lego, not enough passion and chi in them....
