If Only All Of Our Neighbors Were Like T...

A dramatic 911 call from the Pasadena man who allegedly shot and killed two men accused of burglarizing his neighbor has been released. The dispatcher tried to talk him out of it. Horn (the shooter) has not been arrested or charged with any crime. God Bless America

I wish I had a neighbor like him. Lucky for the people who owned the house were not inside the house. I bet these bastards would have killed everyone in the house. I say he is a great human being.

if he stopped `em on his lawn it is reasonable to assume they were there to hurt/kill him for being a witness or they were there to rob him next. It is his right to stand on his own lawn any time of the day or night he pleases - if someone out there wants to do him harm for that and he knows it, then a threat in the neighborhood needs expunging. Sound cold? The threat is lethal to every person in that neighborhood, children and all - threats like that are not petty or trivial, they are not only the responsibility of the police, it is your responsibility to protect yourself.

What if his neighbors were home and had just been murdered? If the homeowner`s had been there it probably would have gone that way. If Horn`s house was next on their list it might have been his fate. If the police did not get there in time to prevent the escape of these unidentified men, odds are good Horn`s house would`ve eventually been hit when they returned, and if he was home and didn`t see them coming - he`d have been murdered, or his wife.

He`s gone to pieces because any good man would after killing. He was smart enough to see the truth of the reality, and did what he had to when he believed time had run out as they escaped.

Yea, all you people are so right. Lets not take the law into our hands and lets just let the police do everything. We will definitely turn out awesome that way! I don`t know about you, but if I was away and my house was being robbed, I would give my neighbor half the goods stolen for doing what he did. Takes more balls than the police have.

I am not a cold blooded killer but these useless thugs would not have stopped at that house. How many lives did he potentially save by taking theirs? Aids_Sauce, I`m not american, but you`re full of shit. I think it`s safe to assume that the crime rates would be lower in the US if more people were like this guy. If criminals realised there`s a very real possibility they`re gonna get killed while committing a crime, they`d think twice about doing that. Criminals do what they do because they know most other people are afraid of them and they feel safe.

You bitch about how two crooks were killed yet you say stuff like "I hope your country burns" and that victims of 9/11 basically deserved it. And your holier-than-thou attitude is annoying. STFU already.

Oh, and might telling me what does this incident have to do with a "police state"? Do you even know what it means? In such a state crime is nationalised and behaviour such as this would be discouraged vigorously by the state. Because if someone can take action against crooks, they can take action against the government.

i believe most ppl deep down on some level approve of what this guy did. or at least if their house was getting robbed and your neighbor shot them, you would at least be happy about burglars not being able to get into other ppl`s houses or your own house again. but in principle, i think it`s not good to take the law into your own hands. in some situations yes, but others no. and the border between acceptable and unacceptable depends on the individual person`s values, which is very very different in every person. that is why there are laws to standardize the definition of crime and the levels of punishment. same with police, police are supposed to enforce law and catch criminals, not judge or implement punishment. but in a way, i do feel safer with 2 burglars dead. eh.

Ive never had my house been robbed, But imagine all the stuff that they could have done. The very second they decided to go into that house they knew that this could go totally wrong, that something of this magnatuide could happen, they knew it and went anyway. What if people were in the house? Do you think they would have for a second given the option not killed them left and hope to god that there not found out and do not go to jail? In my area as of late there have been break ins and they dont just stop at one house they do several before they pack up and go. So yes this horn guy could have been next on there list and he could have possibly been killed.

Aids you preach about how fucked up America is but i hate to burst your bubble but there are very few places left in the world that are any better. And would you want to be the family that live in that house?? To come home see there windows busted half the stuff they earned and paid for stolen? Yes insurance would pay for it, but the fear and fact that someone disregard there safety and property would cause some familys to move.


Am i saying they deserved to die? No. But I myself would have shot them still in the leg or what ever i could but not fatal. This was brought on by there ineptidue to go out work for a life and try and have a decent life that is possible for everyone if they make the effort to go for it. Fuck work at a McDonalds for all i care. Atleast its rightfully earned money.
The guy went overboard but it doesnt take away the fact that he did something that can and will happen again when people break into another persons house.
