Whats wrong with Tom Cruise AS AN ACTOR? yeah maybe outside the movies he does bullshit stuff, but u gotta admit he is a great actor, and personally, I like his movies and am looking forward to this one.

^^ Very true, you can watch the guy in A Few Good Men and realize that he is actually a pretty good actor. Barring the fact that he isn`t really all that normal (but I don`t really mean the good crazy that makes you a really really good actor, ie, Jack), he is, in the end, a pretty good actor.

The guy that played Cicero in Rome is playing Hitler (not a bad choice really) and Kenneth Branagh is in it, he is a great actor.

It well be interesting to see how they portray the various characters, their transformation from pro-Hitler to anti-Hitler. It could be very good, or very bad, I don`t see it as possibly being anywhere in between. They can either hit the mark or miss it completely IMO.

This of course negates the obvious fact that Cruise is 5 foot feck all and he is to play a 6`3` plus von Stauffenberg. Weird casting.

Yes, looks like a good movie but Cruise seems like the weakest part. They needed someone with more `gravitas`.

Maybe the movie will give some Americans in the audience ideas about how to deal with their "government". Hope they`re more successful than the chaps in this movie, though.

Do you morons actually think that a bunch of hollywood writers KNOW what REALLY happened when they tried to assassinate Hitler? If you weren`t there, what credibility does the story hold? For all I know they maybe wanted to kill Hitler to take his place so as to kill the blacks too... don`t even think of treating this as a historical event in its true essence, it`s just one of those cashcows, the premise of an attempt on Hitler`s life appeals to the general public so they`re just putting the whole thing under a compelling and dramatic veil...

I`m going to see it just to see Tom Cruise get killed
