Einstein DOES NOT believe in a personal god, he`s at best a pantheist. And Intelligent design is not science; it has no basis to determine any evidence or truth by observation cause it answers every question with "God did it."

Lets get something straight here...

You have 5 stages of knowledge:
Speculation > Theory > Science > Technology > Application

When we`re talking about something like "Atomes" , you have the first peoples who thought about the idea. Then others who supply a theory about how the system can possibly work. Then you have scientifics, who by experiences and tests establish mathematical models to create laws and patterns to finally have something predictable that you can recreate in laboratory. Once you have a "Science" you can create the technology to exploite a law. And finally at the end, have a finish product.

The evolution is not a theory, it`s not a science, but an application. Hundreds of professions with every single one of them with PILES of studies, evidences, full librairies, world experts; And not for 2-3 years, but CENTURIES of accumulated knowledge.

Creationism is NOT a theory. No one have an idea of how the system presented works, it just happens :P. Creationism is pure speculation.

You not only want to compare the two extremes together...
But show both in class!?

It seems pretty simple to me.
Creationism ISN`T based on facts.
Evolution IS based on facts.

Once the creationists start proving what they believe instead of just believing it blindly, then they might be taken seriously. Until then they are just telling stories.
Darwinists strive to prove what they believe in, that is what sets them apart. They prove more and more each day.

So why can`t evolution be the tool of creation as employed by god? It seems a logical step for notoriously illogical people. I mean, if I was an all supreme deity who gets off on creating, I think I would go the route that allowed the most amount of creations possible, i.e, constant change: evolution.

Though I don`t believe this is the way things are, it would require religious people claiming evolution for themselves, which will never happen as that would require admitting they are wrong (evolution refuters)

Maybe we should propose more than one ID "theory"

Does intelligent have to denote "god?" What about the Sumerian Origins as interpreted by Zecharia Sitchin? Isn`t that a form of ID? It just surprises me that with all of this talk about intelligent design, we haven`t been able to move beyond the idea of "god" (as if an all supreme master of the universe is the only likely alternative answer or the only possible intelligent designer)

Victorio the reason ID and Evolution dont connect is because the the place where the idea of ID comes from tells us the Human life is 6,000 or so years old, same place that speaks of an Adam and Eve who were spontanously placed in a garden in what can only be assumed to be earth. no evoultion required.. created as we are and not to mention using some left overs from Man and making Women... the same place that teaches us about loving our neighboor but convert or kill the non believers. same palce that teaches that homosexual are sinners but yet were all gods children. same place that describes a father figure in the sky who loves you no matter what but demands you dont cross him or he will reject you and send you to place of infinite pain and fire... which can only be assumed to be hell..

...which if there really is a god, these ID pushers will be going to.

Righty so that guy has difficulty believing that as he so stupidly put it life started from `lightning in a puddle`, but thinks its totaly rational to assume an invisible man in the sky made us? One thing that always boggles my mind with these people is when they say how was the universe created then, it cant have just suddenly appeared or always been there surely that means there is a god? Also, it sounds like neither Ben nor Bill has bothered to keep up with evolutionary science since Darwin.

Were there holes in Darwin`s theory when he wrote it? SUre, because electron microscopes didn`t exist back then.
Darwinism has been improved upon over the last century, just as all science is tested and improved upon.

Oh those poor Christians being oppressed. Save them from the atheist unbelievers. If I questioned anything that the church claimed was the word of god or if I refused to believe in said god a couple hundred years ago, they would have killed me.

BTW their whole attitude of "Oh why isn`t it just mentioned along side evolution" is the exact attitude of the scum fucks who made up this bullshit ID theory in the first place. They just try slipping it in slowly and before you know it, it`s become a legitimate theory at least in the eyes of the ignorant.
