RCMP Taser Polish Immigrant To Death

I`m surprised this hasn`t been uploaded yet. On November 17, 2007 this polish man began to act up at Vancouver`s YVR airport after waiting for his mother to arrive for 10 hours. The RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Don`t be confused American folk, they don`t actually wear red coats, big hats and ride horses) responded and within less then 30 seconds proceeded to taser the man twice, until he was pronounced dead. I have great respect for police since my family is mostly officers of the law, however this is just sick.

I was relieved when the owner of this video finally got it back (he fought the rcmp in court for 2 1/2 weeks to get it back). This will open up a much needed investigation to the power of the police and their so called life saving tools and procedures. This had not been the only case of police "brutality" over unarmed men in Vancouver. But this is however the only case that had been completely caught on film.

This has already opened up discussions all over the world on the safety of tazers. I heard Australia since seeing this video has suspended tazer use until further investigation.

The man who died has had an autopsy and they found that there were no drugs in his system (which is the most common reason for tazer deaths) but they havent been able to identify the cause of death yet, hopefully time will tell.

Wasn`t the fucking justification for tasers that it would be a non-lethal replacement for a gun? and only to be used at times where guns may have been needed?

Uhhhhhhh?

When your in a country and you don`t know the language. If you ever encounter the police don`t act like a retard. Its that easy. Don`t throw furniture or other things. Don`t run away or flail your arms. Just put your friggin hands up and all of it will be sorted out at the station. Where are peoples friggin brains lately?

He didn`t help himself with his actions, but couldn`t four burly Canadian cops just have used their muscles to restrain him? Come on. Some cops are tough and can handle an out of shape Pole. I think the cops are getting too addicted to the taser. The cops are getting lazy.

Also, why didn`t his mother meet him at the airport? If you`ve travelled so far, you`d expect somebody from your family to at least have the grace to be there for you.

Just my opinion. So please don`t start screaming and hollering like a deranged baboon busting for a shit if you disagree.

I see nothing wrong with the taser, it`s a useful tool that sadly can be lethal but in turn is a far better alternative then a firearm.
The problem here is it`s obvious they were simply eager to use the taser! Always fun to play with a new toy right? I also question the mans mental situation. Rather then actually inquire if something was wrong they got excited and busted two tasers off on a man who they hadn`t even tried to take down physically. When it comes down to it, it looks like they just walked in and murdered this man.. In fact that is exactly what they did.

There is a possibility that due to his long wait in the air port along with perhaps some other form of stress he may have been suffering, long term or short, that he was simply out of his mind during this ordeal. Once again no one as of yet knows all the details, but from this I would be quick to assume that it was uncalled for.
Once again I think tasers are a logical instrument for the Police to use, however they need to take a serious look in to the restrictions on said usage! Like this video shows, it`s not the taser, it`s the dipshit`s using it... "OH MY GOD!! I can`t understand his language!.. TASE HIM!!!".. ah... ha...
I argue how much better our country is then the US.. then I see this?.. Hmmmmm..

He really didn`t deserve to be tased, he was probably just tired, exhausted and might be scared that something may have happened to his mom, this is a good example of how North America is installing police state for New World Order, that Kerry trial was another good example. DON`T TASE ME BRO

Also, I can`t believe the ignorance of those fuckers saying he`s Russian...how stupid can you get.

"On November 17, 2007 this polish man... "

wait, that`s tomorrow. what?

on the video, they should have removed the taser after getting a couple guys on him, but they should have never gone into a confrontation to begin with; translator or rudimentary sign language would have done fine.

He was sweating and panicked enough to resort to mindless violence, his heart probably exploded or stopped when the electricity hit him. Taser`s are generally nonlethal but on an already excited subject they can injure FAST, they should never be left in after the subject is on the ground...

On the positive side, this is out to the public and you northern North Americans can demand a change.
You have a great justice infrastructure, you just need to remind them they`re there to protect!

Moments like these I wonder if there are actually any rules, regulations or restrictions regarding in which circumstances tasers can or cannot be used. I mean even ignoring the misleading `nonlethal` terminology (which has been renamed to `less than lethal` which is supposedly clearer ...) and the fact that they can kill in certain incidents such as this one, these devices clearly cause emotional, sensual and psychological harm.

So when this happens tomorrow no one will be surprised.

But seriously this is awful. And Russian and Polish sound nothing like each other.
