This game is the same tired crap.

The Xbox lost 4 billion dollars meaning MS is just throwing money away this time with the 360 and yet again theres a persistence that better graphics and the same crap is breaking new ground.

Orbpael is right. I`m tired of playing innovative games at the risk of a company`s financial bankruptcy which doesn`t really affect me adversely in any immediate way so my dismay at its possibility is actually rather unnecessary and only conveys that I am quite possibly a lonely social outcast with nothing better to discuss than exaggerated entertainment affairs.

Looks sweet in game play but seriously this trailer is so cliche like something I have seen done many times before "We have to save the planet, I CAN`T HOLD THEM OFF" Yea that`s original.

Not saying it will be a bad game just saying put more effort in the trailer, they put a lot of time and money in these games and their trailers look like bad 80`s star wars rip offs, come on now

Ok ... look at this. Then look at Elite II: Frontier. *ONE* 3.5 inch floppy (that`s a whopping 1.44 MB for you young uns) had enough explorable space that you would NEVER see everything. And I mean that - you would NEVER see it all. Sure, it was just based off some funky algorithms and what not ... but that`s the key!! After 6 months of Elite II I was still hooked.
Privateer, which this looks like a grandiose version of, took me 1 week to get the shits with, and promptly uninstall. I reckon, at this rate, I`ll play this for 12 hours, feel nostalgia. Play Privateer for a week, feel nostalgia. And then, go back to Elite which is where it alllll began and where it was the best.

NB: I expect someone to inform me promptly that Braben`s Elite was not an original. I can dig that ... but any Elite shits on this.

Sorry for the long post, and good night.

PS - I couldn`t even wait for the end of this clip. I`ve spent 10x more time complaining about it than actually watching it.
PPS - Unless Sid Meier is personally involved, fuck it.

i dont trust games that use ALL cutscenes for their trailers.

did you notice the actual gameplay clips? it didnt look too awesome. its just another generic scifi shooter, like halo
