Part One. Documentary about the Vikings. These pagans came from Scandinavia, and raided and colonised parts of Europe from the 8th to 11th century AD. Famous for their fighting prowess and seafaring ability, they were also reported to have travelled as far west as Newfoundland and as far east as the Volga River.

They technically are pagans all non-abrahamic faiths are, even athesism (despite it beign a lack of faith).

Even the more modern Asatru belief (norse mythology) is classified as neo-paganism.

On another note if one religion could be true, I would want Asatru to be the one.

This guy Erik Skallagrimsson was really an ugly bastard. The name is directly translated to "Uglyhead". He also squeezed out an eye on a servent for bringing him cultured milk instead of beer. Finnishing it of with puking in his face just for the heck of it.

Mr. Kennedy your comment only shows how truly ignorant you are in reference to the term pagan. A pagan literatly means one who worships the gods of old, or gods that predated christianty. Another common definition is someone who is not Jewish, Buddhist, and Christian. Basically anyone who was not a follower of the religion of the book. A pagan can worship one god or many depending on whether they were monthesit, polythesist or pantheist. Monotheist only worship one God, but this did not begin to happen until the isralites began to support it. The polytheist is someone who believes in many Gods and Godesses, including any that the followers many take from another religion and add to their own. Finally the Pantheis is someone who worships a particular set of Gods and Goddesse. This is where the vikings fall under as they worshiped all the Gods of Valhala.
