The French commentary says : This is 300metres away from the finishing line. The runner makes a mistake and goes straight on into the path of a moving tramway which hits him head on. They then talk about the fact that there were no barriers closing the route at the most dangerous part of the race, and nobody is prepared to take the blame. He is taken to hospital hovering between life and death.
I do not know what happened to him, I suppose he recovered.
