First, if he never attacked Russia.

Secondly, if Russia didn`t have the worst winter storm in a 100 years, Germany would of taken Stalingrad. Even the Battle for their capitol, with the worst winter ever, took months, and the Germans almost had it.

^ I wouldn`t think so. He had to attack Russia either way or he risked a 2 front war, which eventually happened anyways from Italy and France.

Say what you will, Nazi engineers were some of the most amazing people of their time. Germans really put out some bright people. A real shame they had to go to war.

Hitler had no chance, he overextended into Africa and Russia. If he had committed more resources (and rommel) to first taking Europe, then securing the Russian front, he would have had a better chance.

That and, if his crazy-ass allies hadn`t tried to fuck with America.

I think in the end Hitler made some bad decisions that screwed him over, he wouldn`t give Rommel the resources he needed, the luftwaffe marshall used up a lot of their airpower on not so efficient raids to Britian(damaged more moral then actual resources), and if he pushed for a little more on the jet engine then the v2 rocket their airpower would have been unstopable.

and the atomic research devision would have been able to create some nice WMD`s if he had waited 1-2 years like the scientists were hopeing for. Instead through operation paperclip the U.S. took most of their engineers and scientists before the Russians could, and continued their work.

America loves bringing up the fact they saved the world in ww2. Since its the only war they have actually done well in for a long time why do you think we see so many ww2 games with Americans in it? Its like the British fucked off all together...

the Nazi military really was a monster and even today we still use tactics that they made up; the USAF even uses formation used by the luftwaffe.

Its all about "ifs" Like If Stalin was not the leader of USSR and didn`t purge the military, leaving inexperienced officers in command. The fucking idiot knew Hitler was going to attack, and what does he do? Kills all the experienced generals and other officers, replaces them with young and inexperienced ones. At that time we had the largest Air Force in the world, and the ironic part we lost majority of it on the ground. I don`t know draser Stalingrad had tons and tons of russians well hidden even if pushed back to the rivier and more been put in at night on boat`s would of been hard to take.

But it was just a Ego battle the russians wanted to defend the name of there leader and the germans wanted to take the city even if it had been bombed in to a carpark.
