Huh? You must be doing something wrong, cuz its working fine for me. My windows haven`t crashed in at least 4 years...And I am proud to say I never had a blue screen of death *knock on wood* I guess you have to be pretty damn retarded to crash windows...

I put a dvd in my new laptop which came with vista premium and the whole thing just froze up. I have hours of my course work on there too. I thought I was going to have a panic attack. fucking thing wouldn`t shut off or anything. I eventually took the battery out due to panic. third time in 2 months it`s totally crashed

This video needs to get its facts straight. Windows Defender is NOT an Anti-Virus program, It is a program to stop unwanted Spyware/Adware. Of course you still need an Anti Virus Protector.

I have a good pc vista runs fine it has never crashed it never lags and i havnt gotten any viruses this video is stupid it was obviously made by someone that has a shit pc that cant run vista...

Vista actually owns, never crashed, once you customize it actually runs faster than XP (by ~10fps on Source). Hell of a lot easier to use and looks better.

Dunno why noobs cry about it. People said the same shit about XP and 98. I guess progress is hard to accept?
Hell people cried about different versions of fucking DOS.

Have to be "pretty damn retarded to crash windows..."? Interesting. Perhaps you should try running more than 1 thing at a time with it. Windows has never been all that great at multitasking. I have yet to see a version that can keep up to a heavy multitasking user. I`m primarily a Winblows user but have used Linux off and on for years and have yet to have an app crash and take the whole operating system down with it. I have to admit XP Pro (Home sucks) and 2000 are relatively solid but still lacking. Ran Vista for a week and got rid of it. It`s a resource pig and it`s built for idiots. I don`t need to be nagged every time I try and change something Microsoft thinks I shouldn`t. Configuration wizards are for morons and it should be optional to have them globally enabled or not.

And you may not have gotten any virus yet but that has very little to do with you running Vista. Give the virus writers a few months to adapt (if that). The #1 reason for viruses spreading...? Not outdated Anti-Virus or un-updated Windows. It`s idiot users who blindly open anything sent to them. Guess I`ve had too many years being a tech and dealing with ignorant users. :)
