Thinking that, if more poeple are againts them, more they are right in their cause.

That been said... what`s the crime they committed!? I know they had a limitation by the court to do their protests. But the crime is?

If we were to condemn those people because "more poeple are againts them, more WE are right in OUR cause." Are we better than them!?

this is the thing a lot of people seem to forget...including the Westboro...according to the Bible: GOD GIVES YOU FREEWILL...example: Adam & Eve

by freewill in this case i mean that: the soldier signed up for the military on his own and took the risks of getting killed and sadly did get killed...God did not punish him as according to the Bible, once again, God gives you freewill...

im sort of confused, so he pickets the funeral of a dead soldier who fights to protect his right because God is punishing this soldier...but then he complains about having his right taken away and how the soldiers and government arent doing their jobs?

The U.S. is about free speech. Hauling people into courts for expressing their right to speak is a bad precedent.

But this case is on such a fine line: decorum vs free speech. And I`m not comfortable having to make that decision, because then you impinge on freedom of speech.

If Westboro is staying a certain distance away, they should be allowed to protest. They are kooks, their funding will run out, and they will eventually go away. These suits are adding fuel to the fire and continue to give them a soapbox. Drop the suits, let them speak their minds, and ultimately these 20-or-so vile people will go away.

If they were truly religious, and truly believed what they were saying, they would renounce their citizenship and move to a country more aligned with their beliefs.

It`s just something "Jesus" said, & while it`s not a bad sentiment, there are to many assholes in this world (some of whom live next to me), to "love them all. phelps and his morons need to stfu now and move on. the proper place to protest might be at eighth and I streets in wash dc any evening during colors ceremony. most of the big brass in the marine corps are there when they are in town

I`m not religious, but one of my friend who is told me this about why the world is in it`s current state.
