Update Regarding Flash Video System

We will be adding a manual download link for videos until we have the flash video system in full working order.

Sometime in the next week or so, we'll be tweaking the flash video codec so that video quality will be increased.

The other thing you need not worry about are the video player controls. You'll have all the same features and capabilities as before with the other players.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience while we refine our flash video system.

Out of curiosity... why did you implement the system before the program was ready? As it stands now, its a rather underwhelming experience, and I can't imagine its helping to keep a new audience.

Maybe you guys shoulda waited?

You need to focus on reading before you do full screen video:

Once you tweak the flash codec, howabout making the myspace code embed the flash player. Like put this inside the table.

Example: player.swf?baseURL=

EDIT: Full embed tag looked weird.

The main reason we did flash now was because it gave us an immediate savings in bandwidth costs. We are spending thousands and thousands every month and flash immediately saved us 30-40% of the cost.

Although there will be cons (sacrifices), there are other and enough benefits.
