Sounds like an Agnostic to me but it took balls to speak in front of that crowd. 5/5 because I gave Dawkins a 5/5 and I can`t prove otherwise.

Not exactly a standing ovation at the end. I think everyone was stunned when he said that saying "I don`t know" is religious. It`s closer to scientific.

What if death isnt something to be feared but rather a reward? Suddenly we wouldnt be doubting God for the deaths caused by the Tsunami, we`d be saddened sure but more accepting of it. Just a thought, but the foundation of our fear of death is faithlessness.


btw this man is not agnostic, he believes in God but has not defined him.

Has this guy ever read the Bible? Interesting how we wait upon orators to explain to us, in fancy, touching, persuasive words what God is like. Does he feel? Does he Care? etc. etc... But the answers are already given to us in the Bible. We are just so lazy that we don`t seek the answers for ouselves. We either don`t know, because of lack of study, or we only know what is told to us. Let me suggest that the sum total of the best orations is already there in the Word. Just get to it and ernestly look for the answers.

His logic is flawed, because if you are unchanging does not mean that you don`t feel. Who are we to say God MUST be our equal?? To call him God is to automatically call him superior saying he must be on our level is blasphemous in itself. And the reason why bad things like tsunamis and earthquakes and dictators happen is because this is not a perfect world. Ever since eden the world has been a flawed place, the bible even addresses this in genesis. There will be thorns, and we will have to toil to get food, painful birth, etc.

Another thing I`m sick and tired of people saying christians are inherently stupid because they believe in God. There is nothing, let me say it again NOTHING that says that trying to understand our world is wrong. And there have been, and will be incredibly intelligent leaders both scientific and political that are christians.

In a time when tolerance is preached and acceptance of all people is what is asked for there seems to be a huge double standard when it comes to christians.

So take a step back and realize how ignorant you sound.
