George Carlin : 9/11 Conspiracy Nut!

I like George Carlin, and so do the vast majority of the people on this site. The difference is only about half listen to what he say's, and the others just laugh like a 2 year old would, not understading the meaning behind the joke. So, maybe all you debunkers should start eating crow here's what your hero thinks on the 9/11 conspiracy. And stop pretending to like the guy if you don't know what his message truly is. Question everything, it's just that simple.

And btw, all he says is that you should be critical. Some people are critical of 911, others are critical of the 911 truth movement. He doesnt pick sides.

He does not say he believes the theories, he just says (as GB rightly pointed out) he is critical of what the government says. Which is fair enough, he is old enough to have seen alot of disgracefull lying and coverups by various US governments and has seen a great deal of people who were at the time accused of being consipracy wackos being proved right. So of course he is likely to be critical as i think most sane people are, but not leap straight forward with huge accusations.

It is totally true, though. "ALWAYS QUESTION" = amen brother. But at some point, each person reaches a conclusion for themselves.

Once again point goes over heads of all idiots. Most of the people against the 9/11 truthers beleive they are wasting their time. Whereas George has always said to look at a situation critically and call bullshit when you see it. I call bullshit on the put options on the airlines, bulshit on NORAD Standing Down, and bullshit on WT7. However, most debunkers say don`t question the official story at all. And for this I call bullshit on the people above me who never question, and chastise those who question the official story. That is all.

Yeah, so, i dont think the government is being 100% honest about 9/11. I dont think their being 100% decietful either. Hes just saying you should always question your leaders and use your power of critical thought. Awesome advice no matter who you are.

YES, always question authority. But at some point, you reach a conclusion. 911 conspiracists are wasting time that could be spent on other issues, like corporate cronyism, the Iraq conflict, the Democratic lack-of-leadership, etc.. Use your brains for something meaningful, is all we`re saying.

Are you getting all the information? Is any experts voiding any opinions, who are theese experts?
WHY, what is their motivation, for thinking that? Is it just the evidence?

I defenitely don`t think we can take the US govmt. at face value. It would NOT be the first time they have lied or decieved the public. That we KNOW. Sure it`s not exactly the "same" people in politics now as then, but IT IS the "SAME" people. If you know what I mean...

he simply gave a generic answer pretty much dodging what the guy asked......and it is something carlin has said for years that

I question every major theory. Do i take the official explanation for it`s entirety? No, there ARE some discrepancies. But lets face it, none of the "truther" (way to misue the language...) explanations are any more viable or believable. Missile pods? Controlled demolitions? Why don`t we throw in aliens and the mafia and call it a fuckin day?

Truth is that very few people know the truth, the rest of us are left to pick through what we can find and patch together what we like.

For me, i support INTELLIGENT inquiries. I don`t presume that i can find the truth of such a matter by sitting my fat ass down and watching some propaganda videos on a humor site.
