If you go online to craigslist, where you can find listing for people looking to do practically any drug, you won`t find ANY looking for heroin. It`s such an insidious drug, there is no one doing it recreationally.

90% or more of the world`s supply of heroin originates from Afganistan. This is no exaggeration. Junkie parents blow opium smoke in babies faces to pacify them, kids smoke it to relieve pain frmo wounds and illness. Addiction is rife and a hit costs about 50c there. Problem is, detox centers are few and far between.

man... I have an extremely addictive personality and I`m not gonna start cuz i know I`m already addicted.

The two in Oslo were just skinpopping instead of shooting into the vein...i wonder why they haven`t opted for the more intense, more bang fer yer buck option of mainlining?

Having said that, it`s scary to think you just buy dope off the street where you have no idea what`s in it, and inject it into your bloodstream. Crazy but i guess that`s the power of addiction.

I encourage anybody fan or otherwise to read the autobiography "scar tissue" by Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers... man now he paints the picture of the life of a junkie so tragically.

Gee Richo, are you accusing NGC of blaming heroin addiction on Afganistan? They are simply citing a large source of the heroin, not saying that they are the creators of the problem.

If you anything about poppies then you`d know that they are a leader in poppy production. Sure, they do it because they need a way to live but that fact doesn`t exempt them from any morale obligations. Even worse, the government tends to turn a blind eye, with some government officials growing that shit around their buildings for god`s sake. When it gets taht bad I think it is okay to point the finger and say hey, this country is a problem.
