amazing filter, but i don`t know about that part in the beginning about worms eating all human pathogens, that sounds far fetched. worms can clear out viruses from feces? bacteria? once bacteria starts growing it`s in the whole vat of rotting feces, how are worms supposed to eat them all. anyways, hopefully this new filter will be afordable to other countries, waterborne diseases are a problem all over the world

stbasdf - Prolly that`s why it takes an entire year. The worms can eat the living ones, and digest them. The rest of them reproduce, but eventually starve out. Interesting point about viruses is that they tend to be species specific...which is why Avian flu is a big deal in theory, but not a huge deal yet.

I`d just like to add that science like this is evil. If you read the bible, you`ll find that the root of all evil is knowledge and the pursuit of it.
