^ So you`re one of those people that ruined the fun and led to the games ultimate demise... I played that game for years, and there was always duping. But eventually it got overran. Blizzard and Battle.Net moved on to their newer games, and things like "white rings" and "spiked gloves" began taking over. Destroyed the game, and destroyed the fun. RIP Diablo... I still hope for a 3...

yeah all the duping is what turned me off the game as well. It was pointless to play if the person could just hack up their item.

Yeah thats why i played Open Battle.net for like a year when closed got annoying, make your own character your own mod and enjoy, no harm done. But seriously all the hacked shit was prevalently in U.S. West, they cleaned up East quick... occy rings, white rings, hex charms 90 to str dex and vit... the list goes on an on.. hexes were by far the worst though, full inv of those and an amazon did cows.. this is before all the patch that made baal runs so much better... pretty sure East never even saw hexes.

Remember that glitch where you could go into negative strength, and you could get +99 to all your skills? Sorc`s would clear a cow level in about 30 seconds... Before the cheating, that game was the greatest I`ve ever played.
