This kinda reminds me of play tag and the people at always stayed at the safe point. Go out and risk getting "tagged".

It would be interesting to see if their murder rate is any higher than ours or if the understanding of an eye for an eye would prevent people from committing random murders.

Like he's trying to put the blame on someone. He's too chicken shit to face his fate. But it's where you live...Personally, If my family were starving or couldnt be 'free' I would gladly sacrifice myself.

Many American believe this stupidity. That such harsh penalties actually deter crime.

I was a psych major and we did many studies on social norms and violence. I know it's hard to grasp but with cultures like this where violence and death are commonplace it is MORE likely somebody would be willing to kill another person. Killing become a possible solution. Someone disrespects you or even looks at you funny on a bad day it is much more likely you will resort to murder in such a society.

Hard to wrap your mind around it I know but hey get a little education and you realize how moron the NRA is when they think they are protecting people by carrying guns. People in the NRA are much more likely to commit a murder than save someone.
