They cut it short, I wish it included the hoverbike sequence after that. The gunner getting jacked on the roadsign is one of the most brutal takedowns in the movie.

Thats the 47 highway in Wilmington Ca, Drives between the Valero Refinery, They also shot the opening scene to Fast and the Furious where the black civics hijack the semi, Mr. & Mrs Smith where they are being chased in there minivan, Terminator 2 where the helicopter is chasing them in the police Swat van. There are afew others but i cant remember but

this was one of the better, and underrated, michael bay movies. it actually had a good story.

^yep, and they said the same stuff about that scene too. "Best chase scene" - "best crashes" - "coolest wrecks" yadda yadda...

This movie was 50 times better though. Now I wanna watch it again

Bay does destruction well, I'll give him that. But seriously that transformers was serious stink. Loved only by the 20+ year old virgin men living in their mom's basement who secretly think cybertron might actually exist and they can go there one day.
