Or if you're lazy, just take a store bought lava lamp, unscrew the top, turn it on to heat up, then unplug it and pour the contents out and replace with water and soap as specified in the video.

^^ But lava lamps have a sealed top like a bottle of beer. then you would have to find somthing to close it up with that could keep it sealed.
