See...this is the type of bullshit that destroys the credibility of quality Hip-Hop music. And people are dumb enough by the millions to accept it, to pay for it even. I just wish more people understood that those of us who cherish Hip-Hop as a music and as a culture hate shit like this even more than they do, because we know the other side, we love creative, meaningful Hip-Hop and we see fad shit like Soulja Boy that comes along and directly bastardizes and brings shame on the entire culture.

The Soulja Boys of the world are the reason the masses will never see just how beautiful the music can be -- I mean, why would anyone choose to listen to any more or to explore Hip-Hop to any further degree if this is the representation they're presented with?

Off the pedestal, I'm ready to be voted down now. Thanks for reading whether you agree with me or not.
