Why is it that hockey players can fight like animals whenever they want but when basket ball players or something else do they get in huge amounts of trouble?

It's all in the rules. Also, basketball is mostly talk, they can't risk injuring themselves and not doing a commercial, rap video, or photo shoot.

being a brit the only american/canadian sport i watch is hockey, the rest seem to slow compared, even american football with all its stopping and starting, something you dont get in rugby. thank god
