The original Halo even still to this day IMO is the best 2 player co-op for a a platform system ever built.

However Halo2 was such a fkn let down I dont even rate it.

Halo3 Theres plenty of Hype but I somehow I doubt it'll redeem the franchise. They should have spent money on the game design instead of all the merchandise and bling. Im predicting another fail for Bungie studios.

its kinda funny that you can get an old guy thats never played a video game in his life to act so natural in this setting of a reality that never happened. When he said "Its a covenant weapon" And "It was used by the brutes" you could tell he wasn't comfortable with what he was saying because he had no idea what the story behind this stuff was

On that note manton.
I might just hire it for the xbox 360 next time Im at the store. Im still wary tho after playing Halo 2.If its better than 1 like you say then its worth giving the franchise another dig

daantec I meant fail to deliver a decent game. I have no doubt theyve reaped big on this product. Im just hoping they redeem themselves after the last installment in the saga

Halo did make 170 Million first day, compared to Spidermans 150, or whatever the actual number was... but Halo 3 costs $60 (in Canada anyways), and theater tickets are, what, $12-$15 at most... so just to put it all in to context.

thats very true 170 million is a lot but for the price of a video game its realy not all that much. still the largest opening day for any video game ever. but more ppl payed to see spiderman three than ppl payed to play halo 3. you also have to take into account the number of dipshits that payed 130 dollars for the game with a helmet that doesnt even fit on your cats head.

the commercials did make it interesting. i never played halo, i've seen screen captures and stuff, some of the cinematics and trailers. i dunno how the game is but i thought all the marketing was on target even if ppl say the 3rd one isn't going to be great

well....Halo 3 rocked( i beat it already)
the game is short, 9 levels, if your gonna play it, do it in hard or legendary or you'll beat it too fast
with legendary,you can enjoy the fine detail of the ground more
;)
they concentrated more in multilayer though

too bad he dies :(

djsire : comparing the benefits is the most objective way i can imagine. Your method of dividing it by the access cost of one unit is absurd. One cinema entryor one rental is 90 minutes of implication for the consumer and a DVD purchase would be 10 hours in average. Over the years a Halo episode is hundreds of hours of gameplay if not thousands...
