Royce Gracie is arguably the greatest MMA fighter to have ever lived. Anyone who says otherwise is either uneducated in combat sports, or just trying to fool themselves. Royce Gracie not only defeated NUMEROUS other legends, he defeated them on the SAME NIGHT. If you can't respect this man, you have no business in MMA, watching or fighting.

He did many great things for the sport but in my opinion Fedor is a better overall fighter.

Thats not to take away from what he did for the sport. The fighting styles you see today are largely based off of Gracie's style of fighting.

^^^^^Royce Gracie is not an MMA fighter, he is a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu fighter... MMA= Mixed Martial Arts. And yes he's one of the best.

In my opinion, He made UFC boring and i stopped watching as did alot of viewers until he left and Tito Ortiz brought some excitement and interest back to the sport.
