The ear cutting scene was uploading by someone else, I think the title is something like "How Chopper got out of H Division."

And yes, this movie is based on an autobiography written by Mark "Chopper" Read, who had a tendency to over exaggerate his stories. There is a disclaimer before the movie saying that some of the events in the movie are ficticious.

And it wouldn't be "Hollywood" bullshit, it was made in Australia. So it'd be "Aussiewood" bullshit.
