i like metallica but that crap they did about the downloading songs making a big fuzz out of it made me lose some respect of em.

it wasnt like they were losing a stack load of money by someone dl'ing their song and no other artist had a complaint since they were all still making their millions!...sigh...thanks a lot metallica

I was one of the original 3k or so banned from napster for downloading metallica.

It made me break all of their albums I had... I had only downloaded 2 songs.

A few years later though- Lars made a statement he doesnt mind people downloading their music, but he does hate it when music that isn't even released is downloaded.

Thats what happened with Napster, they were downloading songs that leaked before the songs were even completed.
