I saw this on TV, and he did die. His grandson (or maybe son, I forget) did the exact same tightrope in the exact same place a few years after this incident, and despite having difficulty in the same place this guy did, he made it across safely.

I personally don't see the thrill of walking between two buildings 100ft off the ground on some string...

I remember in my World History class, my teacher starting talking to us about this, then he showed us this clip. Its Karl Wallenda. The Wallenda's were circus performers. And yes, he died. He was 73.

yea he die that intend for crusing those building was in Puerto Rico he was one good trapecist very famous indeed hes name was wallenda and hes son do the same thing after he die in memory of him and the son do it over there i dont remember too well cause i was a baby was like 18 years back but i see that before in news and countdown in PR for 1 of the most sad moments there he trie to croos 2 building was a hotel or a casino if my memory dont fail me but that day the winds was so xtreme that every one say dont do it but he insist that he will do it and whit no protecion in the end he finish that way
