I personally wouldn't post the 3rd time he goes in because it will wreck the ending of a quite outstanding movie. People deserve to see shawshank redemption in full because it is quite magnificent.

Is sentencing someone to a life sentence really less cruel than than simply killing them? If the idea is to protect society then prison is a cruel and inefficient way of doin that. On top of the fact that it has become a business. Prisons have been around for at least 1000 yeahs; probably since crime began, and yet crime still exists....maybe we need to find a new way.
