paper, Art Clokey has like infinity tons of clay, and probboly uses a video recorder and removes the hand. Now we have a thing where you can use clay and record it on internet and it's for apple or mac. i cant tell. take 4000 snaps of a moving clay and you will have this in no time.

you guys dont know how claymation is done?
they take a piece of clay, take a picture, move it, take another picture, then keep going till theyre done.
this entire film was make from Pictures, not video

This looks pretty old, so it could have been done with a traditional camera, but most likely it was a super 8 camera, or some other similar camera that can take 1 frame or several frames at a time. I have an old video camera from the 80's that has a wired remote for record, pause, & play, & I set it up on a tripod, & did some amusing stop-motion stuff. You wanna use the remote so you don't jostle the camera in between shots. You can probably find one of those old VHS cameras on ebay for nothing, just try & find one with the wired remote. & you don't only have clay to work with, look at Robot Chicken, & South Park!
