Ice sculptures use moving water to make it freeze with no bubbles.

The bubbles are formed from the air being forched into the center of the block (Ice freazes outside towards the middle)

Having a pump that keeps the water moving a little solves this and you get 100% clear ice

or you can pour most any purified water into the tray and freeze it :)

Buy a gallon at the store for 80 cents, if you have a cottage with well water you will probably know that already.
