That was pretty shitty to do. But its tough fighting people you really hate sometimes. Even when it's over sometimes you wish they'd get up so you could go more.
I'm not defending this shitty sportsmanship in any way, but this sort of thing happens all the time. Be it cheapshots, lowblows, cheating etc etc.. and there's almost never conciquences. He should be fined for sure, or maybe lose the whole purse, but I think ending his contract is too much. Or just put him back in the ring with Chuck as punishment lol.

No, not adrenaline.. anger. He was making a statement to Heath. What he should have done is not choke him out and let him up, just to show he could, and then beat on him some more.

Most cuts look worse than they really are, just becuase there was a lot of blood doesn't mean it was a life threatening thing. If the fighter was still intelligently defending himself it means he wasn't hurt as bad as it looked.

sure the cut was on his forehead and not around his eyes, but that was an insane amount of blood on the mat. the ref definitely did not do his job. he should have had the doctor look at it and then gone from there. the ref seemed like he was just along for the ride. that should be his job. that's the bullshit that hinders MMA from becoming a primetime sport. fuck that ref.
