There are other videos of this thing on youtube. I believe the guy who built it has an account there. So far as I could tell from the other videos, this was a hobby stretched out over years.

It is always supported by a crane in the videos. It`s more of an animatronic than a robot. It has no hardware or software for any kind of balance system and it`s center of gravity is far too top heavy for it to even hold out an arm without falling let alone walk.

Its also very underpowered and cant use but one or two hydrolic rams at a time do to lack of pressure. This means it can only bend one joint at a time and even then very slowly.

If this were secured to a base and then the hydrolics were re-engineered so they could function properly instead of it running off a freakin lawnmower sized engine pushing a power steering pump and it was then controlled remotely by an operator or midi then it would be a pretty cool prop since it looks cool but that`s about it.
