Criminal Illegals Deportation

The city council of Waukegan IL has voted to aid federal law enforcement in the identification and deportation of rapists, murders, drug dealers and other criminals who are in the country ILLEGALLY. What seems like a common sense approach to upholding our laws and protecting our communities has stirred up controversy. Why?

The problem isnt deporting illegal aliens who break the law its giving law enforcement powers that they should not have their a part of our goverment that immigration issues and it should stay that way local law enforcement should not be given that ability hispanics are just the latest wave of targeted immigrants at one point or another irish and itlians people were even targeted for the same or similar reasons as we are targeting hispanics now.It's not like we have no space for them we do and if we didnt we could just eliminate all the golf courses in the country and make low cost housing.In the words of penn from Bullshit "can you imagine anything more american than a pizza?"

I'm half italian/half irish. My ancestors were hard working immigrants who's lives were made more difficult by the criminals in their communities. Fuck criminals. i wish we could deport serious offenders of all races but unforunately we only have an excuse for these ones.

Two points:

Rev. Livingston came off like a fool. He didn't answer direct questions, didn't use the time he was given to inform viewers of his side (I'd still like to know what his points were) and probably did more damage to his side than his opponents.

Which is probably why FOX chose him to represent that argument.

Second, I'm actually all for deporting *all* illegal aliens out of America.

We should start with anyone who showed up after 1492, and their descendants.

edit for arkivx below: Where did I use the word 'nation'? I didn't. Where did I say the 'law' shouldn't be enforced? Didn't say that, either. Can you read? I said 'America', referring to the continent. I argued for the utmost consistency in the law; send everyone back across the pond who's on the continent by virtue of a crime being committed.

There was a nation, the pilgrims simply over ran it. It was thier nation and we took it over, it's history, it's sad, it's true, but it's history. It has happened many times since.

We have a similair problem in the U.K. but we are not allowed to deport some people because it infringes on thier human rights.

Divide and rule, thats how politics works, it has done for many centuries, get one group of people to move in and hate the group or groups they are living with and while they are busy fighting with each other, sit back and watch as they go about thier jobs, hating each other for no reason other than someone tells them to.
