Isaac Newton the greatest scientist of his age; to put It simply the Man, a modern legend the man made calculus just to discover the gravitation of celestial bodies. Who the hell does that? Make up an entirely new form of Math in the same time It takes a College student to learn it.

^ Sturm, you just made a contradiction. Man did make the bible, but it was scribed from divine sources. Therefore we do not draw direction from ourselves but from the divinity we believe to be in the pages of the bible.

Why the hell would we create something based on nothing and then claim it to be real? Your last sentence "Sheer arrogance and typical human self centerdness to think we have control over our destiny's." just shows a real hate and contempt for people...you need to get out more.

^ Nic0demus, What makes you think that bible was made from divine sources? Just because the bible says so It doesnt mean its true, remember, the bible was made by a man(or several of them) so maybe...just maybe that same person invented "god".

When humans cant explain something they just refer to it has divine.

i can't see the vid, but is the the bible code stuff? there should be some history channel docs about this, there's some very interesting results from some ppl's searches for codes in the bible. one being an asteroid will be crashing into earth in 2014 :s and they have a list of all the popes and the year they died, all these crazy things. could be somehow real, could be all by chance. i go look for the link. can't find it. but they did mention that newton was obsessed with this stuff

and i thought most ppl find it obvious that people write the christian bible? over centuries the catholic church has taken book out of the "standard" bible. i think they call them cannons. so if people in the vatican can just decide what's books are included in the bible, then how can any of them be devine? and if some of them were devine and ppl were just arranging them wrong, how do you know which book is devine, and how do you know the books in your bible today are the right ones. they took out many books from the bibles and had to choose from many versions, because many of the books had contradictory stories.

i remember watching a national geographic doc, they found some ancient bibles, the "church" or whatever they had back then threw out this one book because it never mentions jesus as the christ, they just say he's some kind of prophet or holy man. sort of like the jews and muslims.
