I'm not quite sure why they didn't listen to him when he was pointing the gun straight to their faces but he shouldn't have did what he did.....

police will empty a clip because it's their safety first. In a normal, no corrupt, situation if there's any indication that the cops life is in danger ie: some idiot pulling a gun.. Then they shoot to kill, and make sure the suspect is not going to be getting back up.
slayer.. More often than not, you see people shot in the arm or leg or even the gut in a firefight not even notice right away that they've been hit. So you shoot until they're out, period.

Man, I wish I could understand what was being said!! Looks pretty damn crazy, but you can't judge something on a less than thirty second clip. I like how the police officer just gingerly strolls up to the suspect.

Well, if he thought the guy was pulling a gun, and its 2 on 1 cop vs them, then he made the right move firing until all his bullets were gone. Imagine that yourself, you vs 2 guys, and a gun gets pulled. Talk about shit yourself.... fair enough I suppose.
