Eighth graders are what, 14? I'm sorry, but if that kid wanted to draw a gun, I'm sure he could have done a better job of it.

Hell I used to draw guns in school, they're good side-on technical drawings that are easy to replicate, some of my books from high school are probably littered with sketches of AK47's, USP's and Glocks when I was in my Counter-Strike phase.

Reminds me of the case in Oregon (US) where the little kids were facing felony sex-offender charges for a silly butt-slapping game that happened in the school's hallways. The kids were even in juvenile detention for a while.

If the kids weren't criminals *before* they went to school, their expereinces at school, at the hands of "experts" sure would make criminals out of them. These teachers and administrators are totalitarian goose-steppers.

This is *exactly* why I'm homeschooling parent.

dude i am so sick of living in the us i cant stand it anymore all you guys who live out side of the us and say it sucks shut the fuck up at least u dont live here, you cant do half the things you where able to do in school anymore, you cant even leave youre car on and walk away. i got a fucken 200$ ticket for leaving my car on wtf saying it could of caused a panic and more problems i have to go to court now wtf!

honestly how can people believe thats the gun he drew? theres no way an 8th grader drew a boat (thats what it looks like) with a handle with smiley faces and stick people dancing on it unless he is retarded. although i am agreeing that even if that wasnt the gun he drew he doesnt deserve to be punished its not like he wrote next to the gun "your gonna die mother fucker!"

Can anyone tell me what 13 y/o doesn't want to get out of school for a few days. On another note he's not going to be grounded for getting suspended so it looks to me like this kid got himself a free vacation.

Also I wanted to note that history class should be banned from schools if they are going to take zero tolerance to this level. There are pictures of rifles and other types of weapons in these history books. Also The books talk about murder and war. We need to protect our kids from the truth people, we didn't vote bush into office to act like a bunch of Ron Pauls.
