yay germans. loved the last little duck walking away and when some guy said " jump your the last" the duck turned around and jumped lol. btw it is sad seeing all these little ducks just following their mother to their deaths.

Ducklings bounce. they had to jump to get to ground level or else they would die. there are LOTS of birds that go through this ritual when they are just goslings.

From what i saw, one of the ducklings fell, then instantly the mother followed. I imagine the rest of the ducklings were like, "So, what? are we supposed to jump too?"

Actually, it almost looks like the older duck might have shoved one of the little ones off. Maybe to see if the rest would survive the fall. lol

Just off camera is a giant pile of delicious fluffy marshmallows that the ducklings landed in. They ate the marshmallows with hot cocoa and flew away happily ever after

i don't see why everyone is getting so worked up over this. Ducks are birds too...i see birds pushing their teenage sons and daughters out of their nests to make them learn to fly. Duck mom was probably teaching the same lesson...and if those ducklings failed, they probably hit the water so it's all good anyway

the mom is actually smart... by the looks of it i think she was trying to teach the how to fly so she chose a suitable spot (over the water).

this probably makes me an asshole but i have to admit that i laughed during this video
