I've seen the same thing in East Vancouver... There's a fellow who sits outside in the winter, shoeless, begging. Once he's obtains enough to get another bottle or a rock he grabs his shoes from the alley puts em on and he's off. That and "deaf" guys haning out cards and then requesting a bit of change for them.

sometimes these bums really piss me off. One was outside a burger king begging for money for food so I went inside, bought him a quarter pounder burger, fries, and shake and when I brought it to him he just looked at it, shook his head and said

"oh man I dont eat that stuff"

I dont eat fastfood either but if Im starving I would eat dogfood if someone gave it to me!

In general I hate pan-handlers, but this one guy I saw in Austin cracked me up, he had a sign that said "Why lie? I need a cold beer." If I gave a shit I might've gotten out of my car and given him some change.

i bought a homeless guy food once... he asked for a jamaican patty and a bottle of water, so i went inside the store to get it from him, cuz apparently the manager said he wasn't allowed in. i come out, he says thanks and then asks "hey man, can you also get me a pack of cigarettes?"

led zepplin is right, i bought a bum and his freind a small box of chicken and some biscuts from popeyes, and the assholes yelled at me for not bringing them anything to drink, even after i gave them the food they didnt even say thanks.

some people deserve to be bums, because their rude and dont want to work, you living in a land of oppurtunity that some people would kill to get into, why would u waste it?

Alot of homeless people are that way by pure choice.. They get Ssi checks, but prefer to spend the money on drugs or alchohol..I'm not going to feel sorry for them, and they usually wont take food when you offer it to them, so fuck them..
