Yep all cops get this done, my dad was a cop for 30 years.. brother has been for about 7 now. It actually wasn't manditory to have it done at the acadamy that my brother attended, you have a choice but 99.9% of the trainee's get it done.. it's like a right of passage, and it's only half about knowing what the criminal is going through. When pepper spray is used the police almost always get some of the treatment themselves.. they need to know how to react to it.

I'm an MP in the Marine Corps and we get sprayed with OC, which is quite a bit worse than the stuff the Civ Cops use. Of course, after we get sprayed with it, we have to run through a course.

It sucks. Bad.

This is the lamest most uninteresting clip I've seen today. Cops testing pepper spray. check out the videos where soldiers in basic go into the smoke room full of tear gas. That's freaking hard core. And no pansy voice over idiot trying to make us interested in some Podunk towns yokel police dept training screwing up a simple act of spraying pepper spray. (man I drank the hater aid today!)
