That's crazy, I used to work at a circuit city, and they re-mulched the little parkway right in front of the parking lot, and we'd get customers coming in and saying "hey, your parking lot is smoking" when i went out there it looked like it was smoldering, and then the stuff burst into flames like an hour later.
When the fire dept investigated it they said there was no ignition source really (like a cigarette, or matches) it's just something in the chemical composition of the "grow mulch"

those fucking wood chips, i knew they would be trouble... back in my day we had good ol sand just like kids are supposed to have but they switched to these stupid wood chips that are just painful.
