Capoeira At The Beach

Some people practicing capoeira moves at a beach in Brazil. I'm not sure how effective this is as a martial art but the acrobatics are truly impressive.

The actual martial art is mostly useless in a real fight but fighters develop great speed, strength and reflexes so they can pretty much smash you to a pulp.

I love the caopeira, both a dance and a martial art... I can't even begin to fathom how one learns how to do those backflips...

I always wanted to train out to be able to do that, but I've never found a place to practice "safely". And now, even if I found a place, I don't think my knees would support this.

well.... if you think about it.... Capoeira is almost like a Brazilian form of Drunken Fist. Seems to go by the same principle.... constant flowing movement, with unpredictable movement changes and attacks.
