High Diving Mule Jumps 30 Feet

A controversial animal stunt show was under investigation Wednesday by Bandera County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators were checking to see if it is a case of animal cruelty.

okay, i just saw this story 2 days ago. i am in san antonio, a different broadcast showed the mule diving, and it didnt look pretty. the thing got out of the pool and was holding its leg up like it was hurt. as far as the guy saying that if the mule didnt want to do it, it wouldnt, i find that very hard to believe. the thing is walked up a thirty foot ramp as narrow as its body and once up there, it can change its mind? walk backwards for 30 feet down the ramp? i doubt it. and the guys family has been training mules to do this for fifty years, so he is just gonna keep on doing it. well, how many years do you think people trained their slaves to do things? somehow THEY were able to break the habit. seems like it would be easier to stop making donkeys jump off of platforms.
