Now, before the Catholic bashing begins, let me make one point:

This man does NOT represent the Catholic Church. He is a member of the Catholic LEAGUE, which is more or less a group of religious extremists who will treat ANY religious situation with the zeal of a gestapo. They will always find something offensive, and it almost embarasses me that they even exist.

I am a very devout Catholic, and this doesn't offend me at all. If the artist's intention was to have this figure eaten, then I can understand the disagreement some may have. However, I think the metaphor of the sweetness is actually very creative and incredibly effective. And the nudity, yes, Jesus was in the same human form as we are, so why not celebrate his sharing in our humanity?

I applaud the artist for his professionalism and maturity, and I pray for the whole Catholic League.
