That was fucking awesome! fryser said it right, fucking revolutionary as fuck for the time. In fact I enjoy the old black and white samurai movies far more then the ones Hollywood started to make as the years went on.

The Last Samurai was a good movie.. however it was a) a complete rip off of 'Dances with Wolves'. You don't even need to watch Dances with Wolves to know Last Samurai was a complete rip off. Just read the back of the movie next time you're looking for something to rent.

b) Since they are American cocky fuck heads, they have the audacity to make the "last Samurai" an American. Hah, that sums up the USA so well..

Chuck Norris would kick his arse only by looking at him because he's true American and AMERICA PWNS ALL!!!!!! If you don't believe me watch the new The Last Samurai.

Toshiro Mifune inspired me to do Bushido, something I never got down to doing. I regret it everyday that I never had a chance at learning what he could do.

^^ Entreri, you couldn't be more wrong about "The Last Samurai". The title of the film is actually speaking of Ken Watanabe's character....not Tom Cruise's. Actually, it's talking about the actual samurai that Watanabe's character was portrayed from...his name escapes me.

At the same time, it is also referring to ALL Samurai. There is no plural in the Japanese language. You wouldn't say "The Last Samurais" since the word "samurais" doesn't even exist.
