A Few Good G-Men

Randall Glass, the maker of "Warthog Jump," re-creates in "A Few Good G-Men" an entire scene from the motion picture, "A Few Good Men." His project tests Half-Life 2 Source's capacity for lip-synchronization and emotive gestures. I'm really surprised that this video isn't on Spiked. If it is, I couldn't find it.

That was awesome but they should've made the floor the same colour as the chairs cause how they did it makes the room look too big and empty.

EDIT: nick, this vid was made way back, long before the first Garry mod was made.

"His project tests Half-Life 2 Source's capacity for lip-synchronization and emotive gestures" lol... its G-mod people have made addons so you can type and have lips move and what not. so he dident do much too "test" sources limits but i guess that makes it sound perrty unique but it was alright either way

It seems like this probably took some time and it looks nice and all. But if you've seen what this scene is really like... I miss the expressiveness of Jack Nicholson, its easy to see why he's an oscar winner. Just amazing.

^Friggin' foreigners. Anyway, very cool...looks like the software is improving realism....before you know it, cinematics in games will feature actual gameplay, instead of CGI.

I'm a game designer and I've used source (half life 2 engine). This is really hard to make!!! kudos to the creator. This also proves that games have bad voice acting. The voices in this scene gave those characters so much life, way more than the original characters in HL2.
